Unmasked: Armored for the Pandemic

Ephesians 6: 10-18

The true pandemic that we face in our society today is sin, aside from the Bubonic Plague of the 14th century, the Spanish Flu of 20th the century and the Covid19 of 21st century its sin that has remained the one constant throughout the centuries. Sin is simply the transgression or breaking of the law of the Creator. (1 John 3:4) So while we are able to use the many medical recommendations as precautionary measures to keep us safe the Apostle Paul in Ephesians also created a guideline that all can follow to keep themselves safe from this pandemic called sin.

For the evil one can transform himself and appear as an Angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:4) and deceive you so that you believe a lie. With this said it becomes wisdom for us to ensure we put on the whole Armor of God so that we can stand fast against the plans of the enemy.

Approaches to Preventing Pandemics

The Medical Approach

The Biblical Approach Sin

Public Education

Loins of Truth

Dissemination of Correct information

Breastplate of Righteousness

Available Healthcare for All

Feet with The Gospel

Laws to Protect the Environment

Shield of Faith

Going Green

Helmet of Salvation

International Environmental Policies

Now significantly while the medical approaches to preventing pandemics may change or vary depending on the type of pandemic the worlds experts are dealing with the biblical approach will always be the same as prescribed above, the Armor of God is capable of dealing with it all. The Armor of God adds to the life of the believer the truth of righteousness brought by the gospel of peace working faith to bring salvation through the word of God by His Spirit.

Be Still; Give God Room to Work

Exodus 14: 1-16 Psalm 46:1-4 Philippians 4: 6-8/13.   The children of Israel were coming out of the land of bondage with a lot of the treasures of the land of Egypt freely given to them. However, the Pharaoh realizing his error decided that he had made a grave mistake and what he had done was give away his slaves. With that said he ordered his might army to go after the children of Israel to carry them back into bondage.   The Israelites whereby this time at the red sea with seemingly no available way forward. To the left and the right where two great mountain ranges and now getting closer to them was the mightiest army in the land. The people where now pretty much loosing faith and cried unto Moses have you carried us into this place to die; we were better off in Egypt under the task masters.   Moses was reminded by God that God would fight for his children (Exodus 14:14) God commanded Moses to command the people of God to go forward however he should lift ...

Experiences: What Do You "See"?

Mark 8: 22-25   What you choose to "see" has and will always be determined by you and only you. By "SEE" here I refer to what you choose to become your constant or what you choose to be defined by in your life. For many persons there life experiences has led them to one state of perception and that’s one of doom and gloom with that little bit of hope which can spark a change in there whole existence. For others all they belief is left to do is take the plunge and end themselves.   Jesus healed a man once and asked what do you see? The man’s reply was I see men as trees.  What was really happening? The truth of the matter is that often times there are individuals in our lives who touch us in a very special way however we still need another touch, so that instead of seeing things in the wrong way we can see them as they truly appear.   As individuals who are streaming along the mechanics of time we all encounter situations which add significant experie...
